Rainbow Community Farm

A large portion of our land is, and always has been, farmed for the benefit of the whole community.

For many years the farm team has run a herd of cattle. Generally, any money generated by farming activities goes back into maintaining and upgrading the farmland.

We aim to farm according to organic principles, and to be open and flexible in trying new ideas. Animal welfare is a high consideration - our animals are quiet and happy!

As well as our communal farm, individuals have horses, chickens, goats and pigs.

Planting and harvesting of trees (timber, firewood, fruit & nuts) is ongoing.
